The oldest reference about buildings in the area of Sovovy mlýny is from 1393. The buildings were originally workshops and a mill driven by water wheels.

Strahov swimming pool is a 25m indoor pool, situated in the eastern grandstand of the Great Strahov Stadium. The Great Strahov Stadium was originally built as a venue for popular Sokol displays of synchronized gymnastics in 1926; it was a sand pitch training ground with clay walls and wooden grandstands.

The property built in 1933 as the functionalist Te-Ta department store building is located at 28 Jungmannova Street, Prague 1.
